About Us

In our eyes, producing a large event is an act of civic engagement, and facilitates a profound form of collaboration and informational exchange. Events are potent opportunities for social change, well beyond their fundraising potential.

From the beginning, Ruralliance Productions events have been driven by dedicated volunteers, visionary artists, and the intergenerational exchange of industry professionals working alongside young and new talent.

We produce all elements of our events, rather than outsourcing to profit-motivated/less-principled entities. Design, promotion, permitting, venue rental, artist booking, hospitality, vending, staging, lighting design, sound engineering, and of course, performance (many of our core members are musicians, visual, and multimedia artists) are all handled in-house.

“Edu-tainment” is a central method of raising awareness and cultivating a participatory audience for Ruralliance Productions. As an organization, we leverage the arts as teaching- and community-building tools, and create atmospheres that inspire, defy expectation, and challenge audience and artists alike to consider themselves “conscious collaborators.”

Our motto of “collaborative, celebratory, conscious culture creation” has been the guiding principle for each of our diverse events.
